In one city of the American South, culture is built from all corners. Egg is an insider’s view, a celebration, an index of stories of great people doing great things, in Chattanooga.
In 2014, I was asked to be a part of an editorial team working with ArtsBuild to create a new online publication highlighting arts and culture happening in Chattanooga. We spent the summer of 2014 identifying our subjects, photographing, interviewing, and writing about them, and designing Egg’s new online home. We launched our first issue in September of 2014, and since then have moved to a publishing schedule that will see a new issue 3 times a year. Each issue will feature 6 artists, makers, festivals, or individuals who make great things in our area. Selected photos from our first two issues are shown below.
